Student Orientation Advisement and Registration

Welcome to SOAR at Missouri State University!

Student Orientation, Advisement & Registration (SOAR) is your first step in following your passion and finding your place at Missouri State University!

SOAR programs are designed to welcome you to your new campus home and help you make a successful transition to Missouri State. During SOAR, you will learn information about the university and campus life, speak with an academic advisor, register for your first semester of classes, and meet faculty, staff, and fellow students. But most of all, you will have fun and feel confident about choosing Missouri State!

Attendance of a SOAR session is required of all first-time freshmen (defined as students with fewer than 24 transferrable credit hours earned after their high school graduation) prior to registering for classes at Missouri State.

Students entering for the Summer and Fall 2012 semesters can register for their SOAR session NOW! Visit our Register for a SOAR Session page for instructions on how to select your session through My Missouri State.
