Missouri State University is the second public institution in Missouri to offer a program leading to a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. The Department of Physical Therapy is housed in the McQueary Family Health Sciences Hall.
The McQueary Family Health Sciences Hall is located west of the Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts. At this facility, the University sponsors many events, ranging from plays and musicals, to national concerts and orchestra performances, to live comedy acts. The McQueary Family Health Sciences Hall is also located northwest of the Hammons Student Center, which is close to the new John Q. Hammons Arena. These facilities host Missouri State men and women's basketball and volleyball games and also house a pool for swim team and personal use.
In the vicinity of the McQueary Family Health Sciences Hall are a number of restaurants for students to eat lunch or dinner. These local restaurants include the Pizza Habit, Dragon Inn II, and Subway.
Additionally, as can be seen in the map below, there is an excellent amount of parking around the McQueary Family Health Sciences Hall. A parking lot is located to the south and east of the building. Its immediate proximity to the McQueary Family Health Sciences Hall makes it very convenient for students, faculty, and staff.
