Our program is designed to prepare graduates to use theory and research in meeting everyday challenges in healthcare in order to provide the best care for their patients and to be good ambassadors in their communities. Faculty members are diverse in their academic and clinical expertise and are committed to educating students in an environment that is friendly, but at the same time challenging for students through the use of problem-solving strategies. The program is designed to produce excellent general practice clinicians who can function in a caring and professional manner who possess the skills and self-confidence to assume leadership positions at any healthcare facility or to be independent practitioners.
Program applicants must have a bachelor degree from an accredited college or university, as well as complete specific prerequisite courses to be eligible to apply to the program.
