Model Applications

The Faculty Senate Council on General Education and Intercollegiate Programs (CGEIP) would like to provide faculty example applications with essential attachments as a model of the types of applications that are acceptable for entrance into the revised general education.

NOTE:  Courses that are not currently in the general education curriculum only need to submit the application with a sample syllabus

Discover the form completed for each review by two CGEIP reviewers prior to discussion and vote at the CGEIP meeting.  The Summary Evaluation is posted by each reviewer in the online application and after the CGEIP committee votes on the application the CGEIP chair complies a final comment and clicks on the accept or deny application.  Once approved or denied the Course Submitter, Department Head, and Dean all receive a PDF of the application and the two completed CGEIP reviewer guides.
