Prerequisites & Constraints

The following materials are designed to help ensure that students select their general education classes properly by highlighting any prerequisites and constraints which apply to the general education curriculum. Whereas most of the general education classes may be taken by students at any point in their studies at Missouri State University, some should be completed during the freshman year. Other classes expect the students to have an appropriate background - usually, but not exclusively, in writing and/or math.

The courses are arranged by the section under which they appear in the General Education Program, Basic Required Courses, Areas of Inquiry and Public Affairs.
