This area of the General Education Program includes:
Natural World, a study of our world through courses in Astronomy, Physics, Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Geology and Geography

This area of the General Education Program includes:

American and Missouri Government
The Capstone Course (has been suspended until fall, 2010) that brings the General Education experience together with the University's statewide mission in Public Affairs in a seminar course offering many different topics such as:
Animal Rights Movement and the Social Construction of Reality
Disability Issues for the 21st Century
Going Grey Behind Bars: Social, Economic, and Personal Implications of "Getting Tough" on Crime
Homelessness
