Hi! I'm Emily! I'm a Senior this year at Missouri State University. I'm currently majoring in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Development. I went to high school in O'fallon, Illinois and came to Missouri State to branch out and try something new. When I graduate, I would like to work with troubled adolescence and maybe someday open up my own private practice.
My freshman year, which flew by so quickly, I instantly became involved in lots of organizations including Psychology Club, Phi Eta Sigma, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Natural High Club, and held a position in my sorority. I took everyone's advice right off the bat, and got involved on campus. This not only helped me meet a lot more people, but it also made Missouri State my home.
When I'm not in class, I love hanging out with my friends, and am constantly busy having fun and getting involved , not only with my sorority, but also on campus. The one piece of advice I would give all freshman is to get involved and have fun because your time in college flies by so quickly; and you should never live life with regrets! College is the time to discover what you love, and though at times it may get stressful, it will be all worth it in the end! Don't be afraid to make mistakes and try new things because those are the things that will make you stronger. These are the days you will never forget.
