Hey there! My name is Miles Figg, and I am going to be a sophomore. I have declared as a double major in Finance and Economics with a minor in Political Science, and I’m emphasizing in Financial Advising. I went to Jefferson City High School in Jefferson City, Missouri.
I am involved in a number of student organizations on campus and other civic organizations in the Springfield community. On campus, a few of my involvements include: a social fraternity, Big Ambassadors, Campus Crusade for Christ, the Campus Judicial Board of the Student Government Association, Maroon Madness, and University Ambassadors. I have been fortunate enough to represent Missouri State on the national level at two conferences, and I was selected and later graduated from the Commerce Bank Emerging Leaders Program here at Missouri State.
I like to spend my free time doing community service and hanging out with my friends. I love traveling, playing sports, reading, being in the great outdoors, and riding my bike. I always encourage freshmen to be yourself; as Dr. Seuss said, “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”
