My name is Jordan Fisher and this is my first year as a Peer Leader. I am from the St. Louis area and I graduated from Lindbergh High School in May 2009. I am currently pursuing a degree in History Education with minors in Spanish and Political Science. I plan to graduate in Fall 2013.
In addition to being a Peer Leader, I am also a Residential Programming Assistant in Freddy House for the second year. I am involved in Residence Hall Association, and I am passionate about Residence Life. I am in Phi Sigma Pi, a co-ed honor fraternity, in which I was the Social Chair last Spring. I am also a member of Phi Eta Sigma, a national honor society, and National Society of Collegiate Scholars. I also participated in the Emerging Leaders program last Spring.
I love school and learning, which contributed in my decision to major in education, along with my love for people. In my free time I enjoy doing crafts, staying active, and travelling.
My long-term goals include working with Teach For America for 2 years after graduating. I would like to return to Missouri State to get my master's in Public Affairs.
