Sports Medicine and Athletic Training Scholarships

Harvey Michael Memorial Athletic Trainer Scholarship
Student must be enrolled at the sophomore level or higher and demonstrate a professional interest in athletic training and outstanding academic performance. Financial need is considered.

Lyons-Andre Athletic Trainer Scholarship
Student must be an upperclassman athletic training student. Consideration will be given to financial need, GPA, and athletic training ability.

Sports Medicine/Athletic Training Senior Achievement Award
Student must be a graduating senior in the Sports Medicine Athletic Training program. Student must show evidence of leadership in 2 of 3 areas: campus, community and/or professional activities. Attendance at a state, district and National Athletic Training professional conference is required. When awarded, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of 3.5 in all Sports Medicine courses.

Student Athletic Trainer Scholarship
Student must have clinical evaluation of at least 3.0 in all clinical assignments completed to date and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 in all sports medicine/athletic training coursework. Attendance at two MoATA, MAATA, or NATA national conferences, with at least two conferences in two different categories are required.
