Financial Aid 

Sociology, Anthropology and Criminology Scholarships

Contact the department for application and deadline information. Scholarship amounts may vary annually. Values are approximate. Unless otherwise noted, students must be undergraduates enrolled full-time (12 hours).

Walter O. Cralle Scholarship
Student must be a sociology or anthropology major and have completed 60 hours of academic work with at least a 3.5 GPA. Student must demonstrate active service to the department, the university and/or the community, and possess academic and professional potential based on experience, performance, and goals.

Donald D. Landon Public Affairs Scholarship
Student must be enrolled at the junior level with 60 or more credit hours or senior level with 90 or more credit hours and have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.  Financial need is considered.

Scholarship in Societal Studies
Student must be a declared sociology, anthropology, or crime and society major. When awarded to a student enrolled at sophomore level or higher, the student must be in good academic standing. Financial need is considered.

Dr. Lloyd R. Young Scholarship
Student must be a junior with 60 or more credit hours or senior with 90 or more credit hours and have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.  Public service is considered along with financial need.
