Art and Design Department Scholarship
Student must be a sophomore or junior who has demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in visual arts studies and a 3.0 GPA.

B.H. Armstrong Design Award
Student must have filed a degree program for a BFA in design and have demonstrated the most improvement from the end of his/her sophomore year to the end of his/her junior year.

Bill H. Armstrong Award for Excellence
Student must be a graduating senior art major with an emphasis in image production and graphic design.

Edgar A. Albin Scholarship
Student must be an art and design major. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration given to school performance, college potential, and leadership qualities. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must present an exceptional portfolio work and have an overall 3.0 GPA.

Eric Sidney Memorial Scholarship
Student must be pursuing a BFA in Art with emphasis on drawing or painting.  Student must have passed the BFA Candidacy Review and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their major or a minimum GPA of 2.75 with evidence of overcoming significant challenges in pursuit of education.

Excellence in Photography Award
Student must be an art and design major and have the best portfolio in photography. This award is open to freshmen.

Frederick G. Kieferndorf Fine Arts Travel Award
Student must be a sophomore or junior art and design major, have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in visual arts studies, and have a 3.0 GPA or better.

Jacqueline Snyders Memorial Scholarship
Student must be a sophomore, junior, or non-graduating senior art and design major who has demonstrated clearly outstanding accomplishments as evidenced by presentation of a portfolio and a GPA of 3.0.

James L. Richardson Memorial Scholarship
Student must be a sophomore, junior, or non-graduating senior art and design major with an overall GPA of 3.0 who has demonstrated clearly outstanding accomplishments in visual arts studies.

Jim Bremer Design Scholarship*
Student must be a graphic design major. When awarded to a freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance and interview by scholarship committee representative. When awarded to a sophomore or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of 2.75 and major GPA of 3.25.

Kristin Moseler Memorial Art and Design Scholarship
Student must be a declared BFA in Desing major. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates strong individualism, a passionate interest and pursuit of a broad range of Art & Design areas, and a unique or uncommon approach to solving problems of visual communication. When awarded to a junior or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of 2.50 Missouri State University GPA anda GPA of at least 3.00 in the BFA in Design major. Recipient must be enrolled in at least 12 hours each semester.

Mayme C. Hamilton Memorial Scholarship
Student must be an art and design major with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. Consideration will be given to those students who have clearly demonstrated outstanding accomplishment in art and design as evidenced by the presentation of portfolio.

S. Kinsey Art Education Scholarship
Student must be an art education major. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential, and leadership qualities. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and a GPA of at least 3.5 in art education.
