Agriculture Alumni Scholarship
Student must be an entering freshman. Consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential and leadership qualities.
Craig E. Arnett Memorial Equestrian Scholarship
Student must have career plans to work with horses as a trainer, or equine specialist. When awarded to a student enrolled at the junior level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and a GPA of at least 3.0 in agriculture. Student must be a current member of The American Quarter Horse Association and Missouri State Equestrian Team. Student must own an officially registered horse and provide copy of registration papers.
Gayle Ashley Horticulture Club Scholarship
Student must have completed at least 20 hours with an overall GPA of 2.5 and major / minor GPA of 2.75. Award preferences are as follows: a) Student majoring in horticulture and active member in the horticulture club b) Student minoring in horticulture and active member in the horticulture club c) Student majoring in horticulture d) Student minoring in horticulture e) Student pursuing undergraduate degree. Consideration will be given to financial need.
Henry and Grace Carr Farm Scholarship / Carr Farm Scholarship
Student must be an agriculture major. Consideration will be given to students with 4-H and FFA backgrounds.
Douglas W. Darr Leadership Scholarship
Student must be an agriculture major. First preference will be given to freshman students. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential and leadership qualities. Second preference will be given to previous recipients of the award. Third preference will be given to other students who meet the criteria, but have not previously received the scholarship. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained a GPA of at least 3.0 in Agriculture.
William H. Darr Graduate Assistantship in Agriculture
Student must be pursuing a master’s degree. First preference will be given to a student pursuing a Master of Natural & Applied Sciences degree in Agriculture. Second preference will be given to a student who is currently teaching agriculture on the secondary level and is returning to seek a Master of Education degree or other master's degree. Recipients must be in good academic standing as a student in the Master's level program and enrolled in at least 6 hours each semester.
Delta Tau Alpha Scholarship
Student must be a senior member of The Honor Society of Delta Tau Alpha. This scholarship is awarded based on leadership and character.
Farmers Cooperative Livestock Marketing Scholarship
Student must be an agriculture major with an emphasis in Animal Science or Agricultural Business. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of 2.5 and GPA of 3.0 in agriculture. Preference will be given to students who have participated in 4-H or FFA and are high school graduates from following counties in Missouri: Stone, Taney, Christian, Greene, Lawrence, Dade, Polk, Dallas, Laclede, Webster, Wright, Cedar, Douglas, and Barry.
Future Farmers of America - FFA Agriculture Regents Scholarship
Student must be an entering freshman that placed among top 10 in Southwest Missouri FFA contest.
Jack Gordon Memorial Scholarship
Student must be an entering freshman from Galena High School. If there are no applicants from Galena High School, a recipient is selected from students graduating from Crane High School. Student must rank in the top half of the graduating class, have completed one or more courses in vocational agriculture in high school and show an interest in agriculture. When more than one applicant meets this criteria, class rank and financial need will help decide the recipient.
Christian Robert Hirsch Memorial Scholarship
Student must be a junior who is a member of Alpha Gamma Sigma Fraternity. Consideration will be given to academic performance, character and promise of future achievement and leadership. The recipient is not required to be a declared agriculture major.
Harry R. James Scholarship
Student must be a sophomore or junior with an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and a GPA of at least 3.0 in agriculture. Financial need is considered.
Norman Justus Scholarship
Glenn E. and Ruth Z. Karls Agriculture Scholarship
Student must be an outstanding agriculture major based on academic performance and leadership qualities.
James P. and Margaret S. Landreth Scholarship
Student must be an agriculture major. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential, and leadership qualities. When awarded to a student at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 3.0. Financial need is considered.
H. Lewis Miller Scholarship
Student must be an incoming freshman. Consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential and leadership qualities. Preference will be given to students who have participated in Future Farmers of America (FFA).
Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture Scholarship
Student must be an undergraduate who is a member or his or her family is a member of Missouri Farm Bureau. Preference will be given to students who have completed at least one year of college, although the scholarship could be awarded to an incoming freshman. Consideration will be given to academic progress, leadership qualities and financial need. Active participation in the Collegiate Farm Bureau chapter will be given preference as one measure of leadership quality.
Ed Pinegar Scholarship
Student must be a graduate of Willard High School, Missouri. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential and leadership qualities. When awarded to a student enrolled at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 2.5.
Howard Pyle Memorial Scholarship
Student must be an entering freshman. Preference will be given to those students who are interested in horticulture. Consideration will be given to academic record, leadership, and citizenship
Vernon Renner Scholarship
Student must be enrolled at the sophomore or junior level with an overall GPA of 3.0. Preference will be given to agronomy or wild conservation majors who have demonstrated an interest in soil conservation / soil science / ecologically sustainable agriculture.
Garland and Lavella Reynolds Endowment Fund
Student must be pursuing a degree in horticulture or music. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential, and leadership qualities. When awarded to a student at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of 2.75. When awarded to a student enrolled at the graduate level, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of at least 3.5. Recipients must be enrolled in at least 12 hours each semester if an undergraduate and 6 hours each semester if a graduate student.
John Schatz Scholarship
Student must be enrolled at the sophomore level or above and demonstrate financial need.
Servi-Tech Scholarship
Student must be a sophomore or junior with a special interest in production agriculture or a closely-related field. Consideration will be given to overall GPA, major GPA, difficulty of the classes completed, work experience (both on-campus and off-campus) in relation to a future career. Financial need is also considered, but not as a major criterion.
Stanlie H. and Belva Ross Spangler Memorial Scholarship
Student must be an agriculture major. When awarded to an incoming freshman, consideration will be given to high school performance, college potential and leadership qualities. When awarded to a student at the sophomore level or higher, the student must have maintained an overall GPA of 3.0 and a GPA of 3.0 in agriculture. Financial need is considered.
David F. Stanke Memorial Scholarship
Student must be enrolled at the sophomore level or higher. Preference will be given to a student who is majoring in animal science with an emphasis in dairy studies.
Charles and Patricia Stufflebeam Agricultural Scholarship

Student should demonstrate an interest in dairy science.
Uncle Tom Watkins Memorial Scholarship
Student must have held membership in FFA or 4-H Club in Missouri State University district. Consideration will be given to scholarship, leadership and character.
